Privacy Policy

The short version: the only information this website collects is what you type into the contact form, and we use it to reply to you. We don't sell it, we don't share it, and we don't set cookies.

Last updated: September 3, 2026

Who this is from

Atlas Web Design, LLC ("Atlas," "we," or "us") designs and builds websites for small businesses.

This policy covers this website, atlaswebdesign.com, and nothing else. It does not cover the sites we build for our clients. Each of those is a separate website with its own privacy policy, and that business decides what it collects. It also does not cover work we do for you as a client, which is governed by what we agree to in writing.

What we collect

We collect only two things: what you send us through the contact form, and anonymous visit counts.

When you use the form on our contact page, we receive:

  • Your name (required)

  • Your email address (required)

  • Your phone number, if you give one

  • Whatever you write in the message box

We receive only what you type. There is no account to create, and the form collects nothing in the background.

Why we collect it

We collect this information to reply to you. We use what you send to answer your question, talk through what you need, quote the work, and follow up. That is the entire purpose.

We do not sell your information. We do not rent, trade, or share it with anyone for their own use. We do not send marketing emails, and we will not add you to a mailing list.

Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics to see how many people visit the site and which pages they read. Plausible does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not follow anyone across other websites. What we see is counts, such as how many people opened the pricing page last week. We cannot identify you from it.

Cookies

This website does not set any cookies. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to agree to.

If you switch the site to dark mode, your browser remembers that choice so the site looks the same on your next visit. That preference is stored on your own device, it is not a cookie, and it is never sent to us. Clearing your browser data removes it.

Who else handles it

The web hosting company can also see the contact form submissions. Like any web host, they keep standard server logs that include visitor IP addresses, used to keep the site running and secure. Analytics is handled by Plausible, as described above.

There are no other parties involved in this website. This site runs no advertising networks, no tracking pixels, and no social media widgets.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiries for as long as we need to answer you and for a reasonable period after that, in case you get back in touch. We generally clear out inquiries older than two years. If you become a client, your contact details move into your project records and are kept under our normal record keeping.

Asking us to delete it

Email us at hello@atlaswebdesign.com or call (501) 400-0790 and we will tell you what we have from your inquiry, correct it, or delete it. You do not need to give a reason.

If you would rather not send us anything through the website at all, just email or call instead of using the form.

If we host your site

When we build and host a site for you, the information your visitors send through it belongs to you, not to us. We can see it because we have access to the web servers, and we use that access only to keep your site working and to help when you ask.

We do not use your visitors' information for our own purposes, we do not add it to anything of ours, and we do not sell or share it. If you leave, it goes with you.

Children

This site is meant for adults looking to hire a web designer. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us something through the form, contact us and we will delete it.

Links to other sites

If you follow a link away from atlaswebdesign.com, including to a client site in our portfolio, this policy no longer applies, and we are not responsible for how another site handles your information.

Changes to this policy

If we change how this site handles information, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
